These facts are that she had no choreographer for her dance performance and that she is scared of snakes.
When she realized or rather was conned by director Robert Rodriguez that singer Madonna was ready to get the part of she turned it down, she spends months in therapy to deal with her phobia.
On the set of the movie, she was also told by the director to feel the music, with no set choreography. This was the same technique Robert used for Natalie Portman on the set of their 2005 film “Sin City”.
